Ghost Forest by day
I returned to Trafalgar Square this lunchtime to see 'Ghost Forest' before it heads off to Copenhagen. The tree in this picture (Cylicodiscus gabunensis) is the grandaddy of them all - it can reach 200ft high, taller than Nelson's Column.
In the evening I walked the Southwark with my colleagues to see Jim's photo exhibition and his wife's artwork. It was inspiring. Jim had some great stories behind his photos, from Iceland, Japan and the USA. See if you can spot me in one of his photos from his exhibition. If you're around in the Southwark area over the weekend, do go and have a look.
Inevitably, we ended up in the pub afterwards. Good banter.
