Ash Wednesday

Today children in Iceland dressed up in costumes of various kinds. It is a custom to go and sing in shops and all kinds of businesses. For that they get paid mostly in candy. Sometimes they come home with bags of treats. Sometimes a toothbrush as well. My grandson was a crazy scientist with many formulas in in pocket.
