A Constitutional

It's a long time since I've taken a walk for the 'walks' sake. All else has been necessity to limit the discomfort of my leg and back. Last night was the first time I was able to lie in bed without too much pain. Does this mean there is healing going on? I do, oh so very much, hope so.

I walked past a place where memory is preciously wonderful and heartbreakingly sad. Although I was such a regular visitor there, and even often stayed overnight there, today I realised that I could not recollect the door number. I think I may have buried something very, very deep.

And what is this about Mark Lawson of the Radio 4 Arts Programme? Leaving? His voice and wide field of knowledge will be missed by me.
