I tried!

At the Drovers Inn at Inverarnan, by Loch Lomond for lunch. It's been a working Inn since 1705, and really is the best pub for photo opportunities.
So I was brave and asked some of the staff to let me take their photos.
They must get really fed up posing with this old bear!

Sadly all my portraits have come out really grainy and rubbish.

So here is Alan in his kilt.

BBB took a much better shot of me and the bear, which I have put on Facebook. My arm wasn't long enough to take a selfie though.

Apologies to Dana who did some great poses, but they were just a blur.
