Babes in the Wood

Yesterday was very sad. Jack, having been diagnosed with cancer only the previous Friday, has been admitted to hospital and will have a brain scan over the weekend at some stage. Mrs S is obviously very worried about her Dad, and her Mum who is disabled, and spent most of the afternoon and evening in the hospital making sure he was settled.

We got a call this morning to say he wasn't very well and so she's over there now again with her Mum to see him.

To give everyone some respite we went for a long walk through the woods at Gosford House this morning. The two girls were lagging behind so me, Mrs S and Joe thought it would be a good idea to hide. As you can see, the girls weren't too impressed!

Still, for the rest of the walk they were caught up in tales from Mrs S of mythology - from the Green Man through to Medusa and then they pigged out (literally) at the cafe in the farm shop.

So, tired out and rosy cheeked everyone is now crashed out while Mrs Smith makes the trip over to the hospital again.
