For a number of reasons, we have not had a proper "Date Wednesday' for a few weeks, so it was refreshing to be able to spend some time together today on a wee trip up to the Trossachs and lunch at the Boat House. The mist rolling in and out was so beautiful, but I have no idea how to photograph that successfully, so as usual settled on the close up.

Happy call from the Wounded Soldier across the Water. His ankle is getting slowly better.

Big Weigh in today - lost 4 lbs, bringing the total to 1st 2.5 lbs. Celebrated with a Loch Vennacher trout and - speak it not in Gath - s few sautéed potatoes.
