Happydays- Day 58

We took a walk at Risley Moss with some Forest Fun friends this morning. Everyone was having a lovely time until Chickpea got a bit too close to the edge of the pond and fell in! Luckily, our friends came to the rescue with dry clothes as I was completely unprepared for a swimming Chickpea. After she got dry and warm we continued and the kids had great fun running about, stomping through the mud and stick fishing. I even found a juvenile newt or a lizard. I still don't really know but it was cold and inactive so a fairly easy catch. I was excited, anyway.
