Love and Life

We’ve never been to All Hallows in Tillington until today. It’s just along the A272 from Midhurst and has an attractive and unusual ‘coronet’ style top to the tower. But what I loved about it was the stained glass windows, many in the style of the Pre-Raphaelites with their wonderful colours. I actually chose the odd one out, the most recent, the Millennium window by R.J. Lloyd. This detail inspires me, including the River of Life which purifies and heals. The Dove represents Peace and Love, and at the bottom, the plants and crops of the South Downs. All things dear to my heart.
