Twig

The garden is wet but no longer saturated with water, and our changed weather is bringing the onset of spring.

This twig is bearing quince blossom, with an added touch of lichen; more buds are growing. And a spider has spun a few threads between the nascent flowers.

Of all the fruit trees, the quince's blossom has the most delicate, delightful colours. If you don't have one in your garden, why not?
