No light at the end of the tunnel

Set off from Wellington just after 10 am to Napier via Levin. Arrived in Napier and our motel just after 3 pm. Unloaded our gear from the car into the motel, visited the super market for provisions, drove along the beach road and then back to the motel for our evening meal and an early night. Weather mixed with sunshine and rain – temperature varied from 13 degrees in Wellington to 23 degrees in Napier.
