Top Chap
We give out Top Chap awards rarely. However, James B is my current student, and he is indeed a Top Chap. He's working hard and will have no problems. A pleasure to fly with, and an ex-Navy guy to boot!
Out tomorrow I hope... although maybe not! See how it goes...
I'm going to expand on this post as I've got time on my hands...
There are some people who are hard to train because they maybe don't get what we do and how we do it particularly quickly. For them patience is required, and a rethink as to tactics.
There are some people who are hard to train because they think they know it all already, and they don't. With them you have to backtrack their knowledge, then build it up again in the right way.
Then there are those who just listen, understand, and do what you say. And they keep doing it, and they don't think they know better, they just want to do it right. They're quiet, humble, and often extremely capable. A joy to train. James is one of those.
I wonder what type I was???
