vicious flowers
Following up from brutus the other day (update: its a sparrowhawk, and the pigeon did die, it was found elsewhere in the garden) these are a continuation in my developing 'nasty nature' series. They are second hand flowers. Passed on to us because the pollen is so potent that it catches the back of your throat. I don't suffer from hayfever type allergies, but I can feel the scratch on the back of my throat from these bad boys.
But they are a sign that spring is a-coming, which, much as I like winter, is a good thing too.
