At Blackford Pond

I went to Blackford Pond after work to see what was happening as I hadn't been there for weeks. The swans were the first birds I saw - they make such a difference to the whole place as they seem to be the ones who really own the pond. There were also coots, moorhens, tufted ducks, grey geese, mallards and a few - far fewer than later in the year - black headed gulls.
