Oval Balls

This plaque, on the front wall of the George  Hotel, Huddersfield, commemorates the founding meeting of rugby league.

Currently looking empty and rather sad, the Grade II-listed hotel, was sold in 2013 for an undisclosed sum after it went into receivership.

Took the afternoon off work.
