Burlington shoreline

There is a pedestrian walkway along the Burlington shoreline called the Waterfront Trail. As it was bitterly cold this evening, I only saw one other person in the park and she was out by necessity with her dog.

This photo was taken towards the east from the foot of the Burlington Pier. Although the sun was setting in the opposite direction, the horizon over Lake Ontario was painted pink. It was really very beautiful.
