Dundee

This was the view I saw many years ago for the first time.

I was a teenager coming for my university interview at the Dental Hospital.

I had never been to Scotland before.

Born and grew up in industrial Yorkshire.

The setting of Dundee just took my breath away.

I loved my time here as a student.

And also as a young dentist.

It is where I met my future husband.

Where I got married.

Where I bought my first house.

Where I got my first dog.

Although I have not lived here for a long time.

My heart still belongs to Dundee.
