La Cannula

It sounds like a type of pasta - but it's actually the name of that annoying little needley thing they put in the back of your hand (OK - I added the 'la')

I had a bit of a reaction to the anaesthetic and was sick a couple of times in the evening after the Op. So when I took this picture the next morning I was still lying in bed and hadn't yet been upright. (I managed to get up a few hours later and was discharged that afternoon)

Everything went well with the Op. Apparently they used a 3D camera while doing the keyhole surgery (does that mean the doctor had to wear those funny glasses?)
