First Bumblebee

Cooler today, but still enough sunshine to draw out a bumblebee, my first of the year, following yesterday's first butterfly.

I think this one's an Early Bumblebee, possibly a Buff-tailed. Early's have reddish 'tails' whereas Buff-tailed tails are, well, buff coloured.

The Natural History Museum online key is a good resource for identifying British bumblebees.
