Between fen and mountains

By Tickytocky

Four seasons in a day

I woke up to a strange wind rattling the shutters which is very unusual. It the rained and sleeted on and off during the morning before the sun came out and even generated a bit of warmth. I had to go up the main valley in the morning and the snow was coming down the mountain to around 1000 metres - snow chains required to drive into Andorra. There were only five of us at French conversation in the afternoon. Otherwise the day was spent tidying the house before we leave and hand it over to the vicar who currently has SDF status (sans domicile fixe = homeless.) I saw the house he is building today. At least the roof is on. He hopes it will be at least be fit to camp in in around five weeks time when we return.
