Frosty, Misty Morning At The Cattle Drink

Out very early with the dog this morning (just after 7) - the overnight frost was still present and there was a slight mist in the beck valley.

The sun was just beginning to poke through the trees and you can see some of the pinkness of the sky reflected in the beck.

There was no wind so there was almost no noise from the nearby A1. This meant that you could hear every little rustle of wildlife hopping and flitting - and the gurgling of the water.

I have only ever seen the 'cattle drink' used by sheep - but there was no livestock in this field today.
