Today, I had some half-formed plans to buy a few pretty pink roses so that I could pull the petals off and float them along with some lit votive candles on the surface of my bathwater for a romantic supernatant image. However, life requires that I make do with a solitary hot pink feather from the boa Sally and BB wore to celebrate my 300th journal entry. Here it is, sailing serenely on the smooth sea of my bathroom sink.

I'm off to visit young Elliott Logan Wiehl and his mother so that I can deliver a casserole and get some snuggling in. Haven't seen him for almost a week!
