Blustery

It was very windy overnight and I don't know whether that's what woke me up in the early hours, but I couldn't get back to sleep for another two and a half hours.

It's still windy now, and my walk this morning was a case of two steps forwards and one back as the wind blew me sideways or stopped me in my tracks. Jasper was ok, being lower to the ground, but his ears were flying :-)

I've been to get the bread and now there's nothing to do but make a chocolate cake, although I wish I could find proper cocoa powder and not something that's more like drinking chocolate.

I pass this window twice a day, every day.

p.s. Rose, do you remember your blue and black Adidas hat? It's the only one that will stay on my head when it's this windy!
