Blue Heron and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe RR

3/3/2014 ~ Blue Heron and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe RR Locomotive ~ Golden Gardens Park / Beach, Ballard Neighborhood, Seattle, WA

After a morning of rain, the sun made an appearance in the afternoon, just fabulous winter weather. Took a walk at Golden Gardens Park / Beach (did I mention the sun was out and it felt warm) and it may have been the best weather all winter. The Blue Heron was just sitting on the log soaking up the sun as well. He was quite content to just stand there with the train rumbling by and the noise did not faze the heron at all.
