The frogs are back

A new pond cam was installed with only a few days to spare before the spring action was spotted yesterday. This shot was taken at 02:11:37 this morning, with infrared illumination. Fortunately for me, the camera and computer do it all themselves. There are several frogs in this shot; I call the spring action "The Frog Olympics".

I will be trying to get photos with a "proper" camera, but the frogs are very shy, so it's difficult to get near them. But it's as well that they're shy, because the local cats will soon start prowling around in hope of a nice juicy meal.
