Track crossing signs
Made some railroad crossing signs for the main line in Dolores. Interestingly the RGS mounted the signs at a 60 degree angle versus most railroads at a 90 degree. The posts were dipped into tar to prevent rotting. My little models are mounted with a small piece of brass rod drilled into the post so that if I hit one they won't break but just bend. Easy to fix versus a whole new post.
Anyway, next project is to install my watchman shanty by my yard and plant lots of trees and such. Also building two flatcars - DRGW class 6500. Have to have something to deliver the new tractors to Dolores.
