Mimosa Pudica

So, many years ago I went to stay with a friend in Oxford. We ventured into town and ended up at the botanical gardens (mainly to stop me being run over by mad people on bicycles). In there were some fantastic plants, really interesting. However, me and my friend spent a happy 15 minutes playing with mimosa. Mimosa are often called The Ticklish Plant as when the leaves are touched they close up as if they have been tickled. So this is my 6th or 7th attempt at growing them. All other plants have died or simply not sprouted. So hopefully, maybe, eventually I can tickle a plant again and remember those wonderful minutes those years ago in Oxford with Rob. Miss you buddy.
