Fireplace Details

I took my 2 girls (wife Lisa, S-I-L Joy) to the Ringling Museum today. My brother Jim was supposed to come, too...but he had a board meeting at his park. I told him it ruined my Blip plans...as I was going to force him to pose in front of several nude statues. Man throwing a discus, man wrestling a bull, man holding a turtle. You get the picture.

Believe it or not...I do have my limits about how crass I can get, so I wouldn't ask the girls to do anything even remotely racy.

We had a nice morning...ending with lunch at Cracker Barrel.

On my FLICK PAGE is a picture of the girls, and a few pictures of the paintings, including one by William James Glackens...the uncle of creative lenna, a fellow blipper.

The fireplace was purchased by Mr. Ringling from the Huntington Mansion in New York City. The artist who created it was named Karl Bitters. A lovely piece.
