Not quite dark..

Decided to leave work slightly earlier than usual as the traffic didn't look too bad outside the window. It was nice to see the last bit of daylight, I've been driving home in the dark for what seems like ages.

Big mistake though, took me half an hour to get to the cricket ground about a mile away and the 26 mile journey home took nearly an hour and a half in the end, finishing off with a final bit of the trip crawling at less than 20 miles an hour behind a learner driver. I know we all had to learn but really, why go out on a dark country lane if you are that nervous, surely daylight would be better?

Anyway, got home eventually, by which time all that lovely daylight was long gone.
