'Badbones'

Just returned from a great evening listening to and watching the amazing skills of our favourite local band, 'Badbones' in the local pub.

Steve and Dave are an incredibly talented pair who play quite heavy rock usually, though tonight they were much more subdued, playing Simon and Garfunkel, Cat Stevens and Fleetwood Mac.
Steve has the most versatile voice, has to be heard to be believed and his fingers, as can be seen in the photo, move so quickly with such dexterity. Dave, on the other hand, has had to learn a whole new instrument as his incredible ability on the drums has been transposed to the drum pad, if that's what it's called :-/ A whole different ball game!
Sadly they were playing to only a large handful of us, possibly as the weather was pretty miserable, who really wanted to venture out?........we began walking and nearly lost the umbrella so nipped back for the car.......wimps ;-)

These two guys play to support an African charity they set up. All the money they receive goes to the charity, we know as we had them at our house for my husband's special birthday party! They both have 'proper jobs' but honestly they could earn a brilliant living playing music, such superb musicians :-)

They sometimes add a third member, Gavin, then they call themselves 'Deaf Shepherd'-a much heavier sound, it blows your mind and your eardrums!!!! Their website www.lemonrock.com may be worth a visit if you're interested.
