Shadow camouflage

Twigs make marble grain,
To mark the grey lichened bark,
Shadow camouflage.

Yes, it was sunny this morning .... not for long. Lovely to squelch through the mud in the sunshine. This little chap was watching me from the safe arms of an old oak tree.... but I could still see him ....!
