Blundell's Cottage
This is a little original cottage in Canberra. The site of the capital city of Australia was originally a sheep station and this is the type of house that was here for the settlers. Last time we came here we had young children but now they have grown up with kids of their own. We walked from out motel in Civic over to the Parliamentary Triangle, along the lake and over Kings Bridge. We had not had any lunch so were looking for a cafe, but alas after three hours of walking we didn't come across one shop. They have everything planned in this city and the shops all seem to be hidden...
Had an interesting visit to an old school friend who had a unit overlooking the lake. Ate barbecue out on the balcony, all very pleasant.
