Into the light

We take electricity for granted until we have a power outage, and then we realize how much we depend on it for light, heat, entertainment. Fortunately for us, we're well prepared for power outages, but it can be really hard for people who have no back ups, especially in cold winter months.
I've been looking at these transformers and the assortment of tangled wires for a blip for awhile now, although today was the first time I've associated "assortment" with them. Assortment happens to be the weekly challenge, so this might be a banker.
