Afternoon nap

It's Monday and winter holiday is over. Sami has been sleeping more than usual today, holiday week must have been exhausting for him.

Watched the 2014 Academy Awards recording and enjoyed the show. Historical drama 12 Years a Slave won three Oscars including best picture, while Gravity picked up seven including best director. I liked the Ellen DeGeneres hosting and was a bit sorry for Leonardo DiCaprio. In the Short Film category a Finnish short film Do I Have to Take Care of Everything? (Pitääkö Mun Kaikki Hoitaa?) was nominated but unfortunately did not win. However, the getting the nomination was a huge achievement, so well done Selma Vilhunen and Kirsikka Saari.

Granny ordered self made greeting cards from our greeting cart crafting expert Emma and she both produced the cards and delivered the order today. She is fast and handy. I should have photographed her cards but missed it.
