One flood - No Ark!

Like many places recently we have been troubled with an unexpected influx of water - the church tower has been flooded! A veritable flood but not sufficient to require an ark. Hence the display of posters in church today.

To cope with the financial aspect involved, we had an Open Day yesterday and invited the village to a tour of the Bell Tower and inspect the bells which date from 1400.

Apparently it was very well attended; the children loved it and nearly $3,000 was raised.
