Return of the Sun.

After three days of almost constant rain, it was such a pleasure to see the sun again. It was a really beautiful day here that cheered everyone up. Isn't it amazing how a bit of sunshine puts a spring in the step. We drove to Cockermouth this morning to put Linda's car in for a service and on the way back, stopped to take a shot of some ducks in a pool. As luck would have it, they'd gone by the time we got organised. This was a fair alternative of Skiddaw taken from close to the Portinscale bridge.
