Clear Skies

After breakfast today we decided to head for the beach at Stonehaven. It was bright clear but quite cool with a brisk wind. Met a couple of friends from the office who were doing the same but in the opposite direction. They had recently left the Ship Inn, and we were heading towards the Ship Inn.

Lots of cars all along the sea front so we were one car amongst many others. It was high tide so we saw several boats from the sailing club heading out for an afternoon on the ocean.

After a restorative glass of tomato juice at the Ship Inn we headed back to the car and the return inland. Long long queue for ice cream at Aunt Bettie's!
