Hobbit Home
In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole and that meant comfort."

A busy day and all attempts to blip were thwarted! Sunshine, hail showers, much work in the garden and then we were invited out for pizza and pingpong in the early evening. I attempted to blip, a different image, before we went and was told my exif data was showing 1st January 4051 and I couldn't upload!! No time to sort that out before we headed off to T and S's amazing place - warm hobbit shapes and colours, complete with turf roof, which was once the home to guinea pigs before the hawks got them! S was busily sorted out the animals when we arrived: Mr Frascati an enormous long legged ram, and his flock of ewes; Henry a huge shire horse and three other big and muddy horses; a very loud gander and his goose; Tom the bouncy Old English Sheepdog and his pal Annie the black German Shepherd. Once they were fed, it was time for the humans - we were invited to decorate a large section of the pizza using topping of our choice- little name flags made sure you got what you ordered! The pizza was colossal and delicious (garlic, red peppers, black olives, feta, broccoli and cheddar on mine) then we played some mad games of ping pong - Lady M - all serves were dodgy! After that blackberry and apple crumble was produced with custard, ice cream and cream. After that we couldn't move.
