Touring holiday

It was a beautiful morning so decided I needed potting compost and sunflower hearts for the birds.

Called in at a little farm shop on the way to the garden centre and noticed the bags of potting compost were three 70 litre bags for £10, so bought them there. I then saw that the sunflower hearts were £3.50 for 2kg, so bought two bags.

At the garden centre two bags of 60 litre potting compost was £10 and one bag of 2kg of hearts was £7.99. (At Wilkinson's they are £2.99 for a 1kg bag making £5.98 for two).

Confused? Not surprised. Anyway saved a bundle on this morning's purchases.

So I can afford my new car.
