Cut and dried

OK so MonoMonday just got more difficult. I like B&W but then someone decides on a theme - food. Looking back over 780 entries I think I can count on one hand the number of times food features.

I tried a tomato on a vine, yes just one it was all we had left. A cream egg was unwrapped, but no not eaten it was photographed and then put back (being good today). Onions, leeks and carrots all auditioned. None hit the mark.

Then I noticed this. It is a slice of orange that was dried for Christmas (the bowl is still out). I do like the texture. Is it food? Well it was and I am sure if it could be rehydrated it would be delicious; maybe. So dried food it is and there you have MonoMonday:Food.
