Eggsperiment

Today the daughter brought a couple of friends home from school. They had to do a science project where they had to devise a cage of some sort to protect a raw egg from breaking when dropped from a height. Some eggs were hurt in this eggsperiment. However, they finally created a newspaper, masking tape, straw and raffia affair that successfully kept an egg intact. Here, one of the daughter's friends retrieves the egg from its "cushion".

Throughout all this, sunshine was rather apprehensive as the girls kept launching the egg off the upstairs balcony onto his front garden football pitch. I think he was wishing them success as he didn't want to play on broken eggs. :)
