Harvest is Nigh

All around Marlborough the grapes are nearing harvest. In fact some varieties are being picked already. I have been keeping an eye on the Pinot Gris grapes growing on Meadowbank Station. I have blipped these grapevines a number of times since I started blipping. Today they are looking very scrumptious. It is such a pity they were over the fence from the Taylor River tracks…. I suspect it will not be too long before the nets are removed prior to harvest….
