....everyone who was at this concert tonight!

Judy Fjell, on the right, is a fantastic singer/songwriter who Laurie and I have known for a number of years. She's a terrific entertainer, so fun and at ease on stage. We had the privilege of hearing her tonight (with Crystal Reeves on fiddle, mandolin and harmonies) in an intimate house concert - a great way to spend a cold rainy Sunday evening.

The "Oscar" was presented just after intermission as compensation for having to miss the gala tonight. No contest for me -- I much prefer the authentic, comfortable, cozy concert with a house full of friends and wonderful music to the glitz and glamour and phoniness of the Oscars. And these two women can play!!!
