Happy Birthday, Mom!

Mom was born on February 29, 1936, so in non-leap years we get to pick the most convenient day to celebrate her birthday.

Ken grilled salmon, with steamed asparagus and salad for her special dinner. She made me promise not to put 78 candles on her cake (which was really frosted brownies), so we settled for a 7 and an 8.

We'll re-use the candles when she turns 87! :-)
