Rural Derbyshire

Heading up to Cumbria we took the pretty way, made even more interesting by missing one of our turnings, by which we discovered Froghall Wharf, the terminus of the Caldon Canal and limekilns.

Continuing along that road we passed through the Derbyshire Dales with their attractive barns and stone-walled fields.
