Marvellous toy

While I was away Bill decided to do some rearranging and left this book down as he didn't know why we had it. The clue was in the author Tom Paxton but he didn't realise that. As I was growing up an Irish singer that my Mum liked, Val Doonican had a hit with this song. It was years later that I realised one of my favourite folk singers had written it. When I saw him last year I bought a copy of the book and he signed it for me. We have managed to agree on a space on the shelf for it so it is back in place again. But I am waiting for the zips and whirs when it moves again...
