IWD Celebrations begin.

We had a very successful event in Halifax today to celebrate International Women's day which is actually next Saturday. We put on a delicious buffet lunch, a cookery demonstration using the mayor as one of the guinea pigs, a photographic exhibition and film from Gaza, all to support the amazing women, mothers, daughters whose acts of resistance are simply keeping their families, culture and traditions going.

I have now managed to catch up with myself after a few weeks of not being able to blip.
