Day 3 Oban to Mull

Ferry excitement this morning as we left Oban for Mull. We were like a couple of kids today with our enthusiasm, expecially when we arrived on Mull and headed left into the hills which were bigger than I imagined. This was taken under a giant rain cloud at the foot of Ben More and overlooking Loch Na Keal.

We drove around for hours, had a picnic overlooking a beautiful part of the loch and finally ended up in Tobermory where we found a cheap and smelly cheerful guesthouse.

We went to visit some friends who run Isle of Mull Cheese dairy where they make their extremely tasty Isle of Mull cheddar. We had a tour of the dairy and cellars and a great cuppa and chat. Lovely people!
