The lake at Aden

Today was another beautiful sunny one, so we took the opportunity to head for Aden Country Park with our son, the grandchildren and Macdog for a peaceful meander around the park in the afternoon. Lots of people had the same idea but it's big enough to lose yourself on one of the many paths. The drifts of snowdrops were everywhere. It's a lovely place at any time of the year but I particularly like it at this time before the leaves come out on the trees and that carpet of white is on the ground. Our son knows the place backwards having spent a lot of his teenage years on his bike with friends there so we found ourselves on a path today that was new to us, despite having walked in the park regularly for over twenty years.
