Sunday tea

Early start for a Sunday - Lottie had a Rainbow church parade. Still can't get used to the difference in the service to what I am used to - the enthusiastic singing, the instruments, the different modern hymns. But she enjoys it. Did make me think again that I really ought to start going to church again - it must be lovely to have such strong faith that gets you through life.

Came home and intended going out again later to get some fresh air but it's been a damp day and we ended up having a lazy afternoon watching the Voice from last night and a bit of footy.

To continue grandma's birthday celebrations the northern part of the clan took her out for tea tonight to our local eating place - good food as ever but the service left a bit to be desired.

Time to chill for a bit now and try to put thoughts of work out of my head
