Teenagers lair.....,

The kids are back from their dads and as is the norm all are unsettled! He that is the teenager has retreated to acclimatise in his pig sty room. The playstation and his friends are calling. The two babies are at each other's throats and I've now separated them and tried to distract them with different activities. I need to get more organised and have something for them to get stuck into which is fun and engaging as soon as they come in through the door.

Turtle is very excited as some of his seeds have sprouted and very soon we will have to repot them and move them from the propagator and into the greenhouse!

Onion and turtle have both come back with sore throats and bunged up noses! So it's soaks in the bath before cuddles and bed. Hoping calpol works it's magic and asthma meds kick in letting them sleep before another hectic week at school.

Between now and Easter break turtle has his SATS and is working really hard with lots of homework. Not sure I agree with putting so much pressure on 10year olds but I just told him to do his best and I'll be proud of all his achievements. Hope he doesn't get to stressed :( guess I'll just have to be more inventive with things to cheer them up!


The weather has turned cold wet and windy again today. Hope we have some sunshine tomorrow! Hope everyone has had a relaxing weekend :) take care and thanks for stopping by :)
